But I want to get there on my own, and have some say in the matter.Using the wall run as an example: this was no different than The Sands of Time. I had no problem with that. What I didn’t like was the constant direction I was getting, right down to the environment itself. Perhaps I exaggerated by saying the game was a massive quick time event , but the sentiments behind that statement stand. I didn’t feel like I had much choice in the matter.I don’t see the problem with an Assassin’s Creed-level of interaction with the environment. Replace the alleyways and stone towers with canyons and windmills, and you’d have yourself a gymnast’s playground. Easier said than done, of course I’m no game designer. But the whole project seems too safe when compared to what they put together for Assassin’s Creed.
